Bollegraaf HBC 140 K, yoc 2007
Year of construction 2007, pressing force 140 t, installation 2018
The customer received a completely overhauled Bollegraaf HBC 140 K, with 10-fold cross binding, new chain belt conveyor, new wire drawing stations and bale chute, for pressing cardboard boxes, foils and hard plastics.
-
Baler Bollegraaf, Typ HBC 140 K, yoc 2007, working hours 42,354 hours, completely overhauled by OBM Recycling Machinery B.V. -
Pressing force main press 140 tons, pressing force pre-press 70 tons, drive power 2 x 75 kW, bale size 1,100 x 1,100 mm. -
At the customer's request, the press was placed on steel platforms 390 mm high, to facilitate daily cleaning and service work. -
Height-adjustable wire deflection units were used as wire stations, enabling individual wire feeding. -
The wire reel stands were equipped with mobile heavy-duty reels (optional equipment). This makes it easy to fit new 500 kg wire coils outside the narrow maintenance aisle. -
Due to the 390 mm increase of the press, the area where the needles pass through the press floor must be protected from unauthorized access. -
This door (optional equipment) between two steel platforms, controlled by a safety switch, protects the area of vertical and horizontal tying from unauthorised access. -
Between the baler and the wire pulling station a narrow maintenance corridor of 1 m was maintained. -
A height-adjustable wire station (optional equipment) was also installed behind the baler. -
As in the case of the left side of the baler, the wire reel stands were equipped with mobile heavy-duty reels (optional equipment) in order to make it easy to replace the wire reels. -
-
The wire station to the right of the baler is also height-adjustable (optional equipment). However, the reel stands are not mobile, as it is possible to exchange the wire reels directly with a fork lift. -
Wire deflection unit for horizontal tying. -
The optional horizontal tying unit (optional equipment) is used for expansive materials such as foils and hard plastics. -
-
The wire station to the right of the press is also height-adjustable (optional equipment). However, the reel stands are not mobile, as it is possible to exchange the wire reels directly with a forklift. -

Longitudinal view of the lightweight hall with installed chain belt conveyor. The pit was temporarily covered with wooden panels. -
Chain belt conveyor belt from Germany, axle distance 22.000 mm, infeed belt underfloor 6.000 mm, ascending belt 14.623 mm, gooseneck 1.340 mm, pitch 30°. -
Infeed conveyor under floor 6,000 mm, belt width 1,600 mm, effective working width 1,570 mm, rubber belt EP 400/3, ceiling 4:2. -
Side wall height feeding belt 500 mm, ascending belt 800 mm, belt guidance via a strengthened bush conveyor chain M112/R60-B125. -
Rubber belt with 20 mm T-cleat strip on both sides, 70 mm angle steel driver, 500 mm each 1 piece. -
Chain running angle provided with replaceable wear rails, side walls inside and outside can be dismantled into segments for easy maintenance. -
Maintenance platform with railing mounted directly on the hopper. Ladder equipped with fall protection grid. -
The funnel and drop funnel are made of 10 mm reinforced steel construction. -
Reinforced motor with drive power of 7.5 kW, (optional equipment) also sufficiently dimensioned for wet cardboard. -
-
Sturdy lower cover made of galvanised sheet steel, can be dismantled individually in segments, with discharge chute for material overflow. -
Ladder provided with fall protection and a safety-monitored access barrier. -
Detailed view of the access barrier monitored via safety limit switches. The press switches off when opened. -

-
The bale quality and length are checked by the team leader of the OBM service team. -
The tying works perfectly, the bale quality and bale length are correct. -
The bale weights with cardboard, quality 1.04, are between 850 and 900 kg, with a bale size of 1,100 x 1,100 x 1,200 mm (h x w x l). -
